Day thirty

Today was hard! And for no apparent reason. I slept like 10-11 hours and even got a nap in but I was just dragging all day. I made sure I was eating a bunch and everything. Really feeling ready for that zero day coming up in agua dulce.

Also if anyone is curious what a typical water source is like, I took a couple pictures. Sometimes I cross an area with a real faucet, like an established campground, but often I’m getting water from streams and such that I cross while hiking.

What a typical source looks like as I cross the trail. I don’t like to get water from the spot where everybody walks through, it’s usually cleaner a bit upstream.
This is a few steps upstream from the above picture. Luckily there was a decent volume stream to fill up, which you can see in the middle of this picture.
