Day fifty seven

Today totally kicked my ass. The elevation change was pretty aggressive and the ground underfoot was pretty rocky a lot of the time. Got some amazing pictures but after several days of significant elevation change in a row my legs are starting to feel it, particularly on the steeper sections.

Almost at the top of the first pass – what a color for a lake to be
Spring coming right out of the mountainside
Looking back at the avalanche field – downed trees made for difficult path finding
This suspension bridge was majorly bouncy – I needed to walk one foot in front of the other and hold the cable
Coulda gone on the water slide!
On top of the pass! Really felt like I earned this one
Campsite for tonight
