Day fifty one

Back at it! Elevation really take it out of ya though. I’m camped around 9000 feet tonight, going to be up above 11,000 feet tomorrow night. I’m aiming to get to a lake and go for my first swim of the trail! Gonna be a long 20 miles at high altitude but since I did 17 today pretty easily I think I can hang as long as I wake up early enough. And then I set myself up for a nice taper day of only 15 miles before tackling Mt. Whitney.

Starting to get nervous about summiting Mt. Whitney in a couple days, and my plan involves a 22 mile day the day after that over forester pass, which is the highest elevation actually on the pct (Whitney is a side hike).
